What Do You Want to Do When You Grow Up?
I know an amazing young woman who always says, "When I grow up I want to be a writer." This always makes me laugh because she isn't a 7 year old girl anymore, she is 28 years old and a great reminder that we have a lot of years ahead of us…no matter what age we are.
I don't know about you, but I don't want to curl up on the couch or throw in the towel anytime soon. There are some women out there doing the most amazing things at all ages. Don't let age be a deciding factor in anything you do!!! Think like that young woman I know; she wants to be a designer now and a writer later and probably a dancer after that…all the while having fun, living young, learning new things, laughing and enjoying every minute of her gorgeous life!
Remember there are no rules and there are no age limits. So go ahead, get out there and start something new, something you always wanted….something that makes you get those ticklish butterflies deep down inside!
We have got a lot of years to live...
...So live BIG. Live BOLD and refuse to stop until you reach the TOP!!!

Be Your First Priority
YOU ARE IMPORTANT. TAKE GOOD CARE OF YOURSELF.
You know how when you are listening to the safety instructions on an airplane, and they instruct you to put on your own oxygen mask before helping your children and loved ones? This is true off the airplane too; on the runway of life. In order to help others, to really truly make a difference in others lives, we need to help ourselves first.
Take a look at your life. Are you your first priority? It is not a selfish thing to do. It shows wisdom and respect. Take care of you, then reach out your hands to impact the lives of others.

With Faith, Leave the Rest to the Universe...

You know that if you can breathe Oxygen you can lead.
What is your dream? Do you know it, see it, feel it? Is it powerful enough and are you passionate enough to live it everyday while you work towards your dream???
I read this note today from a favourite author's who writes as the Universe and wanted to share it with you…enjoy:)
"Have you ever wondered, why most people have less trouble with walking and not falling down, talking and making perfect sense, and breathing without stop, than they do with dieting, finding love, or getting rich?
Of course not, but it wouldn't be a bad idea.
It's because with walking, talking, and breathing (which, incidentally, are infinitely more complex than the latter), they engage the magic with intent and expectation, twitch a few general muscles to get things started, and then, with faith, they turn the rest over to me (the Universe).

The Boy with Magic in His Eyes (Part2)
If you read my story about the boy with magical sparkling eyes last week, you need to read the second half of our encounter….
My friend Debi was in Puerto Vallarta visiting me. We of course walk the beach and have dinner watching the sunset and then sit under the stars. Just one of the many gifts that PV gives me when I am there.
I have been carrying a "Sponge Bob Square Pants Candy Dispenser for the past 10 days, in case I see my "magical boy." All of a sudden, I see him. There he is, right in front of me "Hi Mrs." I tell my friend Debi that she has to have these magical magnets (Word of Mouth Marketing). So she believes in my word and buys 3. We pay him for the magnets and he then pulls out a bag and says "have 3 more for you." It was customer service at its best!!!
My new little friend extended his hand saying "my name is Moses. What's your's?" So I tell him and he responds with an oh so polite "Nice to meet you." I want to hug him. Then I pull out the little gift I have for him. His eyes dance (of course) and a "thank you" comes from his eyes. We walk away and I glance back to see the happiest boy opening his new Sponge Bob Candy Container. A small gift, but a big gesture.
Loving goes a long long way. And his happiness was so infectious for me.
I wonder if I could ever be half as infectious to those I meet? Even without the sponge box bob toy?

The Boy with Magic in His Eyes
I just returned home after a month and a half in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. My trip was amazing. I watched the people and saw their happiness. They loved life and were happy to live it fully. It was truly inspiring.
I have been practicing “living in the now.” I understand the word practice. I like it. Though I understand that I may never get it perfect. Life is a journey, not a destination, we never arrive at Life.
I watched the people on the beach peddling their wears, seemingly never tiring. They had such a sense of pride in their culture and were grateful that they have this chance to earn money.
Interestingly, I found myself wanting to purchase from the happy people with the sparkle in their eyes, who are so in love with life.
Hmmm seems like it’s the same all over the world. The sparkle in your eye creates magic that can be read by anyone of any background or in any language.
A little boy, around 8ish in age, approaches our table. He is selling fridge magnets. (You know the ones that the heads bobble, and are full of fun colors).
"Hey Mrs. Wanna buy one?"
I tell him "No Thanks." His eyes are still dancing. He asks again, as if he has not heard my answer.
"Nadda? Ok." He walks away, eyes still smiling, ears tuned to our conversation.
Then my daughter says…"oh but I liked the funny cow"…we giggle.
He comes back, some like to call it follow up.
“Ok, we want the cow." He smiles. I pay him for the cow and give him some money for his own pocket, for his smiles. They made me smile.
His eyes dance with gratitude. He leaves and runs back to his supplier. 10 minutes later to return, eyes sparkling.
"Hey Mrs. This is a present from me to you." He hands me a pretty flamingo fridge magnet, and says "Thank you Mrs." And scurries away.
That magnet will always represent the sparkling eyes and heart of that little boy. He created Magic that day!

Do it Differently This Year...
I was sitting on the beach in Mexico over the Holidays and a man walked up to me with two little bird cages. Inside the cages were two tiny little electric yellow and blue birds. These birds would come out of their cages to a pile of "fortunes" or "quotes to live by" written on small pieces of paper, and they would choose the one that was meant for you. It was a sweet little surprise after being sold the same jewelry and sarongs the whole time. So I told the bird my name and he proceeded to choose the words of wisdom meant for me. This is what he shared with me....

A simple thought, but something very important to remember as we start strong into a new year with new goals, intentions and resolutions.

POWERFUL PASSIONATE BODIES
THe skinny on 2011
It is time to start the year off with greatness. What happened at the end of the year when the celebrations took over the waistline??? Oh Well...Here we are...in the past my clients and myself have experienced vast improvements in their energy, aches and pains, hot flashes, irritability, lifelong insomnia…and most importantly confidence. Confidence in the way they look and confidence in the fact that they will never have to diet again. Just imagine how powerful that feeling is.
It is time to PAY ATTENTION and LOVE LIFE.
JUST GIVE ME 4 DAYS... and then follow it up with 26.
Now its your turn to experience this together with me. Lets get the best body and health that we need to live PASSIONATE POWERFUL LIVES IN 2011!
